“The desperate need for today

is not for a greater number

of intelligent or gifted people,

but for deep people.”

- Richard Foster

GOING DEEPER TOGETHER

Refocus    Refresh    Renew

Going Deeper Together is a ministry for leaders
with rest, recovery and recharge
as the main focus.

At the present time
there two primary growth opportunities
offered by the Going Deeper Together ministry.

Intensives

These unique 4-day experiences involve no more than eight men or women and include three different levels of training. Most are held at Subiaco Abbey in Central Arkansas or other similar venues in different parts of the country. At the present time, participation in these intensives is by invitation only from a previous participant.

Small Groups

These unique groups of focused fellowship are comprised of participants from one of the 4-day intensives. They meet monthly, and the purpose is for mutual encouragement in the ongoing practice of the perspectives and disciplines both taught and experienced at the intensive.

Testimonials

"I came discouraged, dejected, depressed
and seriously considering resigning after over

22 years of ministry.

I left better equipped and more encouraged
than I've ever been with my faith renewed,
my passion revitalized and my hope restored.."
"It was clear that at just the right time
God's sovereign hand brought me together with this group.

God heard the cry of my heart and answered my prayers
in ways I never could have imagined."
"I was in an extended dry time time spiritually,
both personally and pastorally.
This intensive brought a fresh clarity from the Lord,
through which I left refreshed & encouraged
with a renewed commitment and a very real joy."

Why we give.

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

GOING DEEPER
LEADERSHIP TRAINING

In addition to the intensives, we offer seminars on various aspects of Leadership and Emotional & Relational Intelligence (ERI). Topics include understanding and managing a wide range of emotions, communication, and conflict management, as well as understanding different perspectives on personality preferences (MBTI, Enneagram, etc.) to increase your effectiveness in your personal and professional relationships.

Bob Ryan

Founding member” of the Going Deeper Together ministry.

Bob Ryan is a native of Northwest Arkansas. After serving in the Army, he worked in retail for 30 years. He then had the joy of serving as a small group pastor at a large local church for 12 years. He followed this with a transition into mentoring, discipleship, and guiding others. His heart continues to be in discipleship and seeing leaders develop and grow.

After attending one of the first Going Deeper Together intensives, he gained some significant insights regarding the cultivation of emotional and relational spirituality. This included a growing understanding of how becoming "conformed to the Image of His Son" (Romans 8:29) involves the whole person—thinking, feeling, and doing.

Over the last several years, Bob has been integral in offering relationship intensives for church leaders and lay people, first with The Center for Healthy Relationships and now with Going Deeper Together.

Kim Marquette

Kim Marquette is the daughter of the most-high King and lives out her calling through a variety of roles.

Wife to John Marquette for 38 years. Mom to four married children (so make that eight) and GiGi to ten grandchildren, blended, adopted, and born!

A stay-at-home mom for twenty years, Kim reentered corporate America in 2006 and discovered the beauty of ministry in the marketplace.

Kim is the VP of marketing at DaySpring, a subsidiary of Hallmark. The vision of DaySpring, helping others experience and express the life-changing message of God’s love, perfectly aligns with her longing to see women discover who God created them to be and grow in that assignment—nothing more, nothing less, and nothing else.

In 2019, Kim attended the first Going Deeper Together for women and uncovered a new level of intimacy with Jesus in the silence of solitude. Her fear of quiet melted in the sunshine of Subiaco.

Today, Kim serves as the Women’s coordinator for Going Deeper together to serve other women as they experience Jesus in fresh new ways.
